I have been using essential oils for many years. When I was 11 years old, my aunt opened a shop that carried handmade soaps, candles, herbal body products, essential oils, teas, and more. The Herbal Home was located in Menlo Park, CA. I wish that I learned more about oils then, but I think I was a bit too young for it then. But I did use lavender then and I have used it ever since. Over the years, I have also used tea tree oil quite a bit, as well as experimenting with making my own deodorant, and using oils to diffuse in my classroom (rather than the chemical plugins that everyone else was using).
Early in 2015, I decided it was time to ditch the chemicals in my home and body products and join Young Living. The main reason that I decided to join Young Living was because I had used their oils and had success with them. While I was dabbling in oils (before using Young Living), I liked the fragrances, but I didn’t necessarily see them “working”. Now after using Young Living oils, I have had great successes with them and have not had adverse reactions.
Now I use oils for everything. If fact, “there’s an oil for that” is one of my favorite sayings. I use oils in my lotion, body wash, hand soap, laundry, dryer, after sun care, deodorant, and endless blends (radiation, insect repellant, digestion aid, immune boost, “teas”, in my water, and many more.
One thing I love about Young Living is the Seed to Seal guarantee. It’s explained here:

Another great thing about being a member, is not paying retail for the oils. I’m not gonna lie, some of the oils are not cheap, but by joining and being a member, you don’t have to pay retail. Members receive 24% of of retail pricing.
